I want some Crest White Strips.

First of all, my phone is not working.  It worked the whole time I was in VA, and it worked when I got off the plane in NH, but then Sunday evening I had no service.  Monday morning, my phone turned off twice by itself, and I still had no service.  At this point, I start freaking out.  When I get home from work, I call AT&T and they tell me there's no outages.  So, I call Apple and I'm literally on the phone with them and AT&T for an hour and fifteen minutes.  I took my SIM card out a millions time, reset the thing, did all kinds of fancy stuff, and still nothing.  A girl from AT&T told me to go to the store and get a new SIM card because maybe it's the card.  So, I did that today and when I'm at the store, I have every bar ever and 3G service!!  They changed my SIM card and told me to "hope for the best."  Now that I'm at home, I still don't have service.  I have no idea what the deal is and I feel lost without my phone working.  Hopefully there is an outage, or something like that and my phone starts working soon.

My trip to VA was short and sweet.  I met my dad's girlfriend and I really like her.  She's pretty outgoing and down to earth, and not annoying like past girlfriends.  My dad's graduation was pretty boring, but my Aunt Kelly had a surprise party for him afterward and he was pretty surprised.  I got to hang out with my mom for a little bit and I got my haircut.  It's nothing too serious; I had awkward layers and I'm slowly working my way toward having a single-layered bob.  When the hairdresser styled my hair, it looked AWESOME.  Unfortunately, I'm totally uncoordinated when it comes to using a brush and a hair dryer at the same time, so my hair hasn't looked awesome since.

I got to hang out with my brothers for a little bit.  Unfortunately, I think Seth is back to his old habits.  You can totally tell when he's not clean because he's angry and irrational and ridiculous at times.  Apparently he's moving down to Richmond where his friend has a "guaranteed job as a cook" lined up for Seth.  I guess my dad gave Seth the deadline of August 1st, to get a job or go to school, or he has to move out.

Also, the most exciting part of my trip was meeting up with one of my BFFs from high school, Carnita.  I have known her since 5th grade and we were really good friends, but lost touch during college.  She was never one for technology, like no AIM or facebook, so it was impossible to keep in touch with her.  I have been thinking about her a lot recently, and last week she joined facebook!!  She saw that I was going to be in VA and she stalked me and met up with me for an hour and then drove me to my haircut appointment.  Catching up with her was like medicine for my soul.  She has a 3 year old son who wears tiny gangsta hats and holds doors for people.  Oh!  Carnita is working as a paraprofessional just like me!  What are the odds?!!

David took me for a ride on the motorcycle!!  It was  little bit terrifying at first, but it was also really neat.  While on a motorcycle, you see things that you would never see if you were in a car.  Also, you get to smell all the flowers and freshly cut grass.  It's pretty neat.

I think that's all I have to say.  Tomorrow is my interview at EMS.  Hopefully they'll hire me on the spot.  Does anybody have plans for the 4th of July?  I'm pretty sure it's going to rain here, for the 40th day in a row!!  And that is no exaggeration!  It has rained so effin' much!  I'm so depressed!!
