This is a picture of my beautiful tomatoes that are starting to grow in my garden!
Greg put my hammock up yesterday! Look at how comfy and bug-free I look!!
Jen (Greg's sister) is here this weekend. We told her to come up because it was supposed to be rainy and we wouldn't have to work too much this weekend. Now they are saying that it's going to be sunny and awesome and Greg "just remembered" that on of the kids on staff has a wedding to go to, so I have to work 8am-10pm. I'm so pissed! I asked him like 6 times this week if this was the weekend she was going to be gone and he swore to me it was next weekend!! Damnit!
This week I had three softball games. The first game was on Tuesday and I was tired and cranky and decided not to go. That night, I see my teammates' statuses saying that they won! I was so pissed that I missed a game that we won! The next day I found the other team had to forfeit the game. The second game this week, I got hit with the ball in my arm. I'm actually a little disappointed that my bruise doesn't look too bad. It hurt (and still hurts) like a bitch, but I don't really have anything to show for it. I was actually kind of excited to post a grotesque picture of my bruise, but it's barely noticeable. The third game this week was filled with drama!! The girl Kristen, that I work with and got me started on the team, is a little bit crazy. She has an 18 month old who she brings to all the games and practices. She keeps him locked in his stroller and he screams the whole time. A lot of the time, she'll be playing in the outfield and she'll yell "Brodie, SHUT UP!!" or she'll get in his face and say things like "Brodie! I don't care!! STOP CRYING!!" It's really kind of awkward, but who am I to say anything? I don't want to get suckered in to babysitting. So anyway, the game on Thursday was just a normal game- Brodie was in his stroller screaming. Finally, the umpire CALLED THE GAME and told my coach that Brodie needs to shut up and leave. Kristin (being the crazy one that she is) screams "YOU MOTHERFUCKER!!" And girls on our team are litterally holding her back because she's going to kill the guy. Then, one of the girls on the team says to me (so Kristin can't hear) "I work in child services and this is child abuse. I'm not doing my job because I haven't turned her in." Yikes! He facebook statuses have been really weird since the incident. The other day it said something like "Brodie is grounded." How do you ground a baby? Now it says something like she "doesn't care that people judge her for her parenting skills, only He can judge her." She's really crazy and tries to play the "I love Jesus" card so that people think it's okay.
