Green thumb?

Well, I am exhausted.  I did the math and I'm pretty sure I worked 52 hours Friday-Monday.  Yikes!  Thankfully we didn't have too much drama, we were just short-handed so I had to fill in a lot.  Also, I don't know if you guys saw my facebook yesterday, but it said that I was going to get wasted after work yesterday.  Well, I'm all talk.  I pump myself up all day and convince myself that I will get wasted, but when the time actually comes, I have one drink and it's like "meh, I'm good."  I just don't feel it anymore.

My friend Melissa has been promising me for weeks that today is the day she'd come over and help me plant my plants.  Well, guess who was "home sick due to a reaction to black fly bites"?!!  Yeah.  Bitch.  She offered to come over later this week, but I'm pretty freakin' sick of luggin' those damn plants in and out of the house.  So, I put them in the ground today and I hope they survive.  Molly helped me though, she was digging holes in the garden and every time I got a plant in the ground, she came over and tried to eat it.  It was good times.

My mom and David is coming to visit next Thusday.  I'm pretty excited for them to meet Molly and to see our new house.  I think they're bringing up my bed from my mom's house, so I'm pretty excited about that as well.

We're supposed to have rainy weather for the rest of the week and I'm not too happy about it.  i can't wait until it's hot and sunny everyday!

  1. This is my second time writing this comment. I will do my best to remember what I wrote last time, but you should know I'm peeved.

    Molly is so ridiculously adorable!

My dad used to be a tomato man and when I told him you had tomato plants he said, "tell her to plant them deep." I don't know exactly what that means, but there you go. If they survive I'll say it was all because of me.

I'm jealous that your mom and David are going to visit you and see puppy Molly. When I get there, she we weigh like 35 lbs and wont be a tiny puppy. This is depressing to me. Don't worry, I'll still love her.

I'm also glad to hear that you didn't get wasted and that you don't feel it anymore.

  2. That top picture of Molly is so insanely cute! Also, I can't believe you had to work so much this weekend. Are you doing the same job you did last summer or something else? Will you be doing this all summer long?

  3. Every time I told someone I was going to plant tomatoes, the only advice they could give me was to plant them deep. I did it, I kind of hope they're not too deep. These plants are so high maintenance!!

I am doing the same job I did last summer-campground manager. And as of right now, I will be doing it all summer, unless, of course, I find my dream job.
