Mercy Ruled Again

Yes, the title is true.  Apparently the mercy rule only goes into effect after the 5th inning, which is for the best because we totally would have lost it in the 1st.  The first pitch, the ball was hit and one of the girls on my team got hit in the face!  I was the EH (extra hitter), so I had to go in for her, for two innings.  I was in the outfield and I had to freakin' stand at the fence for the ball not to blow right by me.  This team was good!  I didn't make any amazing saves and I was up to bat once and got out with an infield fly.  I really think my team sucks.  Granted, I'm not one to talk because I don't get to play much, but damn.  They fall all over the place and can't catch to save their lives.  I used to think I was hott shit in practice, but no not so much.    This is a picture of my team.  I'm riding the pine pony so I'm not in it.

School was kind of lame today.  Prom is in two weeks and it's all anyone is talking about, and I'm a little sick of it.  I don't really give a shit what color your dress is, or what your shoes look like, you know?  And when a lot of these girls describe their dresses to me, I think "OH wow, that's not going to look cute on you at all!"  Also, my friend Amanda that I work with got engaged this weekend.  Her ring is beautiful and I'm a little jealous.  She's been with her bf for 7 years and she had gotten to the point where she was waiting for common law to kick in.  But they went to Bar Harbor, MA this weekend and he proposed on top of a mountain at sunset.  How nice.  I told Greg and he didn't really think twice about it.

Rachel, remember that commercial  for Dell, or something?  That dog was running on the beach and the guy was crying?  Man, that was hilarious!  I should look that up on youtube, or something!

PS.  Why is it that as soon as I think "Man, I should take Molly out soon," she pees?
